Market data
The market intelligence section uses the Partech 2025 Africa Tech Venture Capital Report, published in January 2026. It is a historical annual snapshot of African tech and digital startup equity and debt deals above US$200K. It excludes grants, acquisitions and post-IPO financing. Country and sector comparisons show equity only. The selected country list is not exhaustive. “Other sectors” is the residual of total equity funding less fintech, cleantech, enterprise and healthtech. Figures describe the market, not Monodya’s investments or performance.

The market map uses geographic geometry from Natural Earth, available in the public domain. Highlighted markets describe the report’s selected funding data, not Monodya offices or portfolio locations.
